Yard project this weekend – West Seattle, Part 2

From Scott Bishop of Project Possible:  We made a small dent with our first pass on the front yard. However, I am scheduling a part 2 for this project for this next Saturday 08-22-09 starting @ 8:00 a.m. and going to about 2:00 p.m. The project is mostly limb pruning, raking and loading debris onto a truck to be hauled away. Same number of volunteers are needed 10-15. This is a project for adults and especially for folks who don't mind a little hard work, who enjoy working outside and who don't mind getting dirty - the sturdy variety. They will need to wear their work jeans and to bring work gloves if they have them.

Original post:

8-10 or more volunteers are needed to assist with an extreme yard makeover project in the Fauntleroy neighborhood of West Seattle this Saturday 08-15-09. The project will start at 9:00 a.m. and go to 1:00 p.m.

A senior woman had a stroke over a year ago and she has not been able to keep up with her yard. Heavy overgrowth around and on her home needs cutting back along with raking the yard and then loading yard debris to be hauled away. Additionally, wood from a dilapidated fence needs to be stacked into a pile. Wear your work jeans and bring work gloves if you have them.

For anyone interested in helping please call Scott Bishop @ 425-985-4510 for more information and driving directions.
