Value

I've also been thinking about what makes a person a valuable employee. Especially when times are tough. What does a company need in a team member?

1) A hard worker. When you have a hard worker, you put them in your quiver and don't let them go.
2) A coach-able, humble person.
3) Someone who disciplines his/herself to constantly be in learn mode.
4) Capable. The ability to attain great skill levels.
5) A giver. Someone who looks out for the needs of others and is a joy to get along with.
6) Someone who sees the value in helping the company, and ownership succeed.

These are the first that come to mind. Not necessarily in order of importance. What is off the list is something that most companies make of utmost importance: experience.
